SCOPE OF THE PROGRAM (OPPORTUNITIES)

Community Medical Service and Essential Drugs (CMS & ED) course is 1.5 years program with 3 semesters. CMS & ED Diploma Course is for practicing in the sector of primary Health Care by general allopathic medicines which are approved by world health organization (WHO) for primary health care. The Hon. Supreme Court of India has given an order that CMS&ED Diploma holder can practice in allopathic prescription for all diseases including infection diseases.

Medical professionals holding degree with BEMS, BHMS, BAMS, BUMS, Naturopathy, Alternative Medicines, Psychology, RMP Doctors who wants to practice in Allopathy medicines can opt for CMS&ED Diploma course.

Affiliated University /Board of BMLT Course:  Sikkim Skill University

Duration of CMS ED Course:  18 months + 6 Months Internship

Eligibility for CMS & ED Course:  10th or 10+2 in any discipline (preferably with science) from Recognized University / Board / Council / University
